Okay… far be it for me to ask for help because I intensely dislike imposing on people… but I need it.  Desperately. ;^;

Student loan payments are literally more than I can afford, and I can’t not pay them.  There’s at least one bill proposed to forgive student debt, but until/unless that passes (which could take years), I’m stuck paying more than I’m making.  As it stands, the only way the government will forgive the debt is if I go live in Africa for 2 years with the Peace Corps.

I’m looking for another job, and I’m sending out my stuff to various magazines and newspapers trying to freelance, but nobody’s hiring, nobody’s taking on new help, nothing is working.

So… I need commissions like… as much as I need oxygen.

I’m taking art commissions as well as costume & prop commissions.  I can do pretty much any character, given the right measurements.  Costume commission prices can get kind of steep, because they include the cost of materials as well as compensation for labor, but I can guarantee their quality and accuracy.  I can also do wig styling commissions!

If you can spare a few dollars to commission me, I’d really, really appreciate it.

Prices for costumes would be decided on an individual basis, but cost of materials is usually around $50, so that’s an idea for your base line price.
